Job Description

Boondocks Food & Fun is looking for a full time, energetic Assistant Mechanic to assistant our lead mechanic to service and maintain our fleet of state-of-the-art go-karts & bumper boats.

Responsibilities:

• Perform opening track, pond, kart and boats repair and performance checks
• Maintain kart and boat performance throughout the day
• Maintain track and pond appearance and functionality
• Keep accurate documentation of repairs, parts inventory, and special projects
• Responsibly maintain supply of tools and machinery
• Ensure that the pit, pond, shop and track areas remain clean and safe
• Assist the team members with operations in limited situations
• Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Standing and or walking a lot of the time
• Lifting is required
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation
• Availability to work Saturdays are a must!
• The right candidate will have a track record of mechanical repair experience, preferably in the golf-kart, go-kart, motorcycle or motor sports field, will be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
