Job Description

Boondocks Food & Fun is looking for a full time, energetic Assistant Mechanic to assistant our lead mechanic to service and maintain our fleet of state-of-the-art go-karts & bumper boats.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Head Mechanic as needed in go-kart repairs, maintenance and cleaning/polishing
• Assist Head Mechanic in repair and maintenance of 24 Volt Bumper Boats
• Daily upkeep of batting cages including netting patches and minor maintenance
• Will receive all pertinent training and equipment to perform duties

Requirements:

• Must have mechanical ability and training in gasoline engines and DC electrical systems
• Must have knowledge of, and use of mechanical and electronic tools
• School, or hands on experience is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
• Be able to lift 50 lbs. or greater
• Be physically capable to work while kneeling, bending, reaching, standing, climbing ladders, and walking extended periods of time
• Be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Needs to be highly trainable in a wide variety of responsibilities
• Requires safety and common-sense oriented individual
