At Boondocks our mission is simple. We strive to provide an excellent family friendly entertainment and experiences. Opened in November of 2009, Boondocks Food & Fun is a year-round park featuring over 8 acres of rides and attractions including 20 Lane Bowling Center, two Go-Karting tracks, Ropes Course, Bumper Boats, two Miniature Golf courses, Batting Cages, Laser Tag, XD Theater, a Huge Arcade, and The BD Restaurant & Bar. 

What we expect

As a banquet and party server at Boondocks your role will be to provide an outstanding experience through dinning and entertainment. You will work closely with a team to ensure our guests and their guests are having a great experience making each interaction personal and unique. During the Banquet service you would be responsible for creating a professional dinning experience, running food, and making great connections with the company's we host. As a party server you would be responsible for ensuring that the birthday kid has the best birthday ever at Boondocks. We do this by providing quality service, games and activities, and a great atmosphere. So are you ready to be both professional and fun? Job Responsibilities

• Setting up, decorating, and preparing buffet rooms for events.
• Set up, maintain and replenish multiple buffet lines.
• Serving guests, and post event clean up.
• Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words.
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables and take to kitchen for cleaning.
• Entertain various amounts of children of all ages.
• Help guest with any and all birthday party needs. Duties include: making the birthday child feel special, taking orders and up-selling, serving food and drinks, singing happy birthday, serving birthday cake, busing, issuing fun cards and wristbands, gift list, closing party tab, help guest with gifts and leftover food to car, if needed.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Have reliable source of transportation.
• Well-groomed and neat appearance.
• Good organizational skills.
• Likes being around families and large groups.
• Enjoys working in a team atmosphere.
• Possess patience and persistence when handling children.
• The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and work in a fast pace environment.
• Availability during the weekends due to the majority of our parties and events occur during Saturdays and Sundays.
• Obtain a food handlers permit within 14days of employment.
• Need to be able to take control of a situation if needed.
